The only thing this comic has to do with Kirby and the Magic Mirror is name and environments

Otherwise everything here is complete bull

Who said it's based off of the game?~

@Martin Prower: Dude... she explicity said that this takes a lot of liberties from the game. Don't complain because it's not EXACTLY like the game, down to the letter. Besides, doing a webcomic or fanfic based off a game and trying to make it exactly like the game never works. I learned that the hard way.

Anyway, regarding the comic... Kirby, you should know better than to tempt fate.

@Jarkes: I didn't actually read the page untill now... what A LOAD OF SH|T3

He can just get ANY ability he wants by SAYING it?!

That's just messed up, that's never been how Kirby works. This isn't even Kirby anymore

Oh Kirby…what the hell is the matter with you?

You've been in space to settle the conundrum between the sun and the moon. Have you forgotten how that works?

@Martin Prower: You aren't understanding the basics of this comic, are you? Read the very beginning to see the plot here and how that works in the comic. This isn't a Kirby game, mind you. This is an author's webcomic.

@Jarkes: What are you talking about when you typed "I learned that the hard way."?

@DarkMario1000: I see no reason to subject myself to that

To clarify for the AUTHOR, your comic is well sprited but not well written

@Martin Prower: I'm not saying you HAVE to read from the beginning. But your argument here isn't really good, especially if you "just read this page".

Posted at September 16th, 2011, 5:58 pm

@Martin Prower

Okay. To clarify, Kirby can't get ANY ability, only the ones he has the ability star, aka "Copy Essence" for. It's like Milky Way Wishes.
Oh, Kirby. Jarkes is right, don't tempt fate. It has NO self-control.

Like DarkMario1000, I'd consider your argument if you hadn't judged this comic by only reading this page. Also, I didn't understand what is so wrong about the plot, mainly after you hadn't even read it whole... And what Meta-Mind stated is right.

@Martin Prower: Dude, chill. I see no reason to be complaining about the plot when, oh, I don't know, we're only 14 comics in. The author is still establishing some plot points now and is still developing the plot. Also, this is her comic so she can do whatever the hell she pleases, so your argument isn't very well founded and null.

Anyway, wow, either Lunar is pretty strong or Solar is pretty light 0.o

@DarkMario1000:
I tried to write a "Subspace Emissary: Director's Cut" fanfic that featured scenes "cut" from the game, and additional characters. It didn't work, mainly because I kept trying to stick as closely to the game as possible, which made it hard to put additional characters into it... And this was only two years ago... usually, old shame fanfics are written at age 10... although I have plenty of those... the data files for them, however, were deleted long ago. So you will never see them. Which is good, 'cause they sucked more than a Seltzer and Friedberg movie. That is not hyperbole.

@Martin Prower:
So... you're going to judge this entire comic on a single page, and then when someone points this out, you say you see "no reason" to "subject" yourself to doing, y'know, the LOGICAL thing and READING IT FROM THE BEGINNING.

Ladies and gentleman, we have here a fine specimen of Insane Troll Logic.

@Martin Prower:
Oh, it's even worse than I thought. You judged it without even READING IT FIRST. Also, your argument about it not being like the game is rendered moot by the fact that you GOT THE TITLE OF THE GAME WRONG. The game was called, "Kirby and the AMAZING Mirror."

@Jarkes: Lol. The last sentence gave me a chuckle.

@ElectroMan
I'm sure Lunar is pretty strong since he is great on Attack and Defense. Then again, I'm sure she isn't heavy at all as well.

It's funny... immediately after posting that comment I went and read the whole thing anyway I surprise even myself sometimes...
This business with Kirby getting abilities from nothing. If it were in a game it would just defeat the purpose and make the game too easy. In a comic, it's an excuse to never not have Kirby be defenceless
And yes, I got the name of the game wrong. We all make mistakes, move on.

The opening page was enough to have me cringe. A DS drooping out of nowhere with a message for Kirby? Not to mention, what I can only assume was an author character, having to put the boot in to just get the plot to start. Would any of you stood for that in Archie? I think not.

I stand by my viewing of this comic; Terrible plot, greatly sprited.

Posted at September 17th, 2011, 7:05 am

@Martin Prower

So you're basically saying, with the first paragraph, that you don't like/despise/hate Milky Way Wishes? Because in that game you can call any ability you want when you've obtained it. Now that's what I'll call: self-cancelling.

(For your information, this comic uses the same concept (revolving around the Copy essences) as Milky Way Wishes)

And your second point? I'll give you an example: a domino track won't fall down, unless you touch the first domino. Same with comics (and basically everything else). You'll need a cause/reason. Everything needs that.

@Frosty Yoshi: In short, yes I hated it. It was also not a full game, it was part of a collection. Neither meant to stand on their own because on their own they would be too lacking in any number of things. In Milky Way Wishes case, lacking in a challenge.

And yes, everything needs a reason to start, I'm not denying this. But author intervention? That's just cheap and low.

And what are you on about your spelling and foul language for?

@Martin Prower:

It's ok that you don't like this comic. But the complaints about it most likely won't be dealt with. You hate the plot, so what? Not everyone is going to like what they read. This is Gigi's comic, and she can do what she wants. You can keep reading, or you don't have to keep reading. =P

okay, I know Dark Mario said no one else would talk about your comments, but saying IN THE COMMENTS that you hate the comic is completely uneccesary and just plain rude. I mean, KEEP YOUR OPINIONS TO YOURSELF!!! it's common sense, and you could hurt Gigi's feelings! >:( How would you like it if someone criticized the way you run your comics??? >:p >:( <(*-*)> <...
